About Me

I am excited for another year at Fuentes! This year I'll be teaching first grade! This is my 20th year teaching and fourth year at Fuentes. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have my Master’s degree in Bicultural Education and have ESL and LBSI endorsements and am certified as a Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher. I love coming to school each day and learning with my students. I work hard to make learning fun, provide structure and routine in my classroom, and celebrate the uniqueness of each of my students. When I’m not at school, you can find me spending time with my husband and two children. We love to go on hiking adventures as often as we can. I look forward to a great year! Gooo Eagles!

¡Estoy emocionada por otro año en Fuentes! ¡Este año enseñaré primer grado! Este es mi vigésimo año como maestra y mi cuarto año en Fuentes. He enseñado en kínder, primer y tercer grado. Mi licenciatura es en Educación Primaria. Tengo una maestría en Educación Bicultural, tengo avales de ESL y LBSI, y estoy certificada como Maestra de Alfabetización Estructurada. Me encanta venir a la escuela todos los días y aprender con mis alumnos. Me esfuerzo por hacer que el aprendizaje sea divertido, proporcionar estructura y rutina en mi clase y celebrar la singularidad de cada uno de mis alumnos. Cuando no estoy en la escuela, me pueden encontrar pasando tiempo con mi esposo y mis dos hijos. Nos encanta ir de excursión y hacer senderismo siempre que podemos. ¡Espero un gran año! ¡Vamos, Águilas!
