I am a mother of three and a long time resident of this community. I earned my Teacher Assistant Certificate from WorkKeys. I've been at Carlos Fuentes for the past ten years.  I previously taught for the Archdiocese of Chicago, and I am well versed in both NAEYC and Montessori philosophies. I’ve taught Reading in grades pre-k through eighth grade and find Kindergarten to be the most interesting and rewarding grade to teach. I love to see children learn to read for the first time, it is an amazing feeling. I'm truly passionate about teaching young children and strive to provide the best educational experience for your child.
