Hello!  I am one of the 2nd Grade teachers at Carlos Fuentes Elementary!  This is my first year at the school and I am very excited to be part of the team.   I recently finished my Master at DePaul University in Early Childhood Education and received my Bachelor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a case manager for people with developmental disabilities. This year in the classroom, I look forward to building a positive community of learners who advocate for themselves and their education.  It is going to be a great year!
