About Me

Hello! I am one of the 1st/2nd Grade teachers at Carlos Fuentes.  I graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education with bilingual and ESL endorsements. I'm currently working on a Master's of Education at National Louis University. I started my career in Education as an assistant teacher at only 19 years old. I fell in love with the profession and never looked back. I have a passion for helping all students reach their full potential and love to challenge them to take chances when learning. I am super excited for this upcoming school year, it’s going to be a great one! 

¡Hola! Soy una de las profesoras de 1er/2º Grado en Carlos Fuentes.  Me gradué de la Universidad Northeastern Illinois con una licenciatura en Educación Infantil con especialización bilingüe y ESL. Actualmente estoy trabajando en una Maestría en Educación en la Universidad Nacional Louis. Comencé mi carrera en Educación como profesora asistente con tan solo 19 años. Me enamoré de la profesión y nunca miré atrás. Me apasiona ayudar a todos los estudiantes a alcanzar su máximo potencial y me encanta desafiarlos a que se arriesguen al aprender. Estoy muy emocionada por este próximo año escolar, ¡será genial!
