About Me

I am a Diverse Learning teacher working with middle school learners at Fuentes, with a focus on supporting students through the transition to High School. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater, and a master's in Special Education and endorsement in the support of English language learners at the University of Illinois- Chicago. I have been with Acero since the 2015-16 school year. I look forward to the upcoming school year, and the opportunity to work with students and their families as they build the strong social and academic skills that will empower them in achieving their long term goals.

Soy maestra de Aprendizaje Diverso y trabajo con estudiantes de secundaria en Fuentes, con un enfoque en apoyar a los estudiantes durante la transición a la escuela secundaria. Completé mi trabajo de pregrado en la Universidad de Wisconsin-Whitewater y una maestría en Educación Especial y respaldo en apoyo a estudiantes del idioma inglés en la Universidad de Illinois-Chicago. Estoy con Acero desde el año escolar 2015-16. Espero con ansias el próximo año escolar y la oportunidad de trabajar con los estudiantes y sus familias mientras desarrollan sólidas habilidades sociales y académicas que los capacitarán para lograr sus objetivos a largo plazo.
