I am a special education teacher for middle school grades 6-8. I'm also the assistant coach for the boys basketball team. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University where I received certification in elementary education with middle school teaching endorsements for Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. I earned my masters degree from Northeastern Illinois University in special education. I have been working at Carlos Fuentes for 4 years. I began my career with Acero as a special education apprentice, before moving into my role as a special education teacher. I enjoy working with the school community on multiple dimensions to help prepare diverse learners for their successful transition into high school as young adults.
