I am so excited to be at Fuentes this year! I taught 6-12th grade band and choir downstate for four years before moving up to Chicago with my husband, my dog, and my cat. It felt incredible to guide my students’ music-making experiences and see the joy on their faces when they sang and played their instruments, but elementary music has always been my passion. I am looking forward to seeing and spreading musical joy at Fuentes, too! We are in for an excellent year.

 

¡Estoy tan emocionada de estar en Fuentes este año! Enseñé banda y coro de grados 6-12 en el estado durante cuatro años antes de mudarme a Chicago con mi esposo, mi perro y mi gato. Fue increíble guiar las experiencias de creación musical de mis alumnos y ver la alegría en sus rostros cuando cantaban y tocaban sus instrumentos, pero la música elemental siempre ha sido mi pasión. ¡Estoy ansioso por ver y difundir la alegría musical en Fuentes también! Vamos a tener un excelente año.
